- Existing pet food options may lack the necessary balance and completeness and contain many fillers and highly processed ingredients, potentially leading to health issues like obesity, cancer, and diabetes in pets.
- Fresh diets offer numerous health benefits over existing pet food options. It contains fresh whole foods and natural micronutrients to support optimum digestion, muscle growth and immune health. Feeding a fresh food diet ultimately prevents medical conditions, maintains a healthy weight, and increases lifespan and wellbeing.
- Many pet owners have observed improvements in their pets' health with fresh food, including smoother and less inflamed skin and coat, more energy, longer walks, less faeces, and better poops, making it a worthwhile choice.
How are Furri Foods’ meals made?
- Our meals are carefully developed by professional veterinarians and veterinary nutritionists to ensure balanced and complete nutrition.
- We select high-quality ingredients, gently cook them according to rigorous standards to maintain optimal nutrition, and package them securely for delivery.
- Each recipe is designed to match your dog’s daily energy needs with human-grade ingredients, ensuring optimal health and nutrition.
How do you tailor the recipe to my dog and know what kind of food my dog needs?
- Our recipes are designed by professional veterinarians and pet nutritionists to meet the unique nutritional needs of dogs.
- We developed a proprietary algorithm based on proven research to calculate their unique portion size based on factors like weight, age, activity level, and body condition.
- Each recipe contains a balanced mix of protein, carbohydrates, vegetables, vitamins, minerals, and fats to support your dog’s health and well-being. We also include natural supplements including egg shell membrane, eggshell and kelp powder for natural microminerals and priced ingredients like collagen, glucosamine and essential fatty acids.
- Each recipe is designed with specific needs or groups in mind, our algorithm will make suggestions based on your pet's profile.
Do I need to refrigerate or freeze the food?
- Yes, it's important to refrigerate our food as it's made fresh without preservatives. Store unused diets in the freezer for up to 3 months, and required portions in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- A guide on proper storage and feeding will be provided with your order. Please refer to the provided guidelines to ensure the freshness and safety of the food.
Do I need to cook the food?
No, our pre-portioned meals are ready to serve directly from the fridge after defrosting. For extra kisses and wags, we recommend heating the packet in warm water or cooking the foods via stove or microwave.
Why can’t I just prepare food for my dog at home?
- While homemade diets are an option, research shows that many homemade dog diets fail to meet nutritional requirements, especially important minerals like calcium.
- Our food is precisely formulated to meet your dog’s nutritional needs, ensuring they receive optimal nutrition without the risk of deficiencies or overdosing.
Is your food suitable for puppies?
Yes, our recipes are suitable for all life stages. Simply enter your dog’s age in our questionnaire to receive a customized plan. We recommend feeding fresh food diets to pups more than 6 months old.
Does your food meet AAFCO’s standards?
Yes, our recipes meet or exceed AAFCO’s standards for complete and balanced nutrition.
My dog has a sensitive stomach, how should I make the transition to FurriFoods’s meals?
- We provide transition instructions to gradually introduce our food over a 10-day period to minimize digestive upset.
- Our chicken and duck recipes are especially suitable for sensitive tummies.
I am worried about food allergies, will your recipes cause them?
- Whilst every dog is different and we cannot predict allergens, our recipes and strict cooking protocols are designed to minimise the risk of allergies. Our diets are 100% free of corn, soy, gluten, fillers and other nasties that often cause allergies and inflammation.
- We offer allergen-avoiding options like our duck recipes.
- If your dog develops allergy symptoms, contact us to discuss alternative food options. Please also watch this space as we develop further options with extra sensitive fur babies in mind.
Packaging and Delivery
How does ordering and delivery work?
Orders are processed until Thursday (11:59pm), the cut-off date, and then shipped for delivery by Tuesday/Wednesday.
Home delivery is available with HK$80 additional delivery fee for orders net amount is below HK$350.
Is your packaging environmentally friendly? Can I recycle it?

- We have also optimised our delivery process with the goal of reducing carbon emissions. This means that we strive to choose the most efficient and environmentally friendly transportation methods, while minimising our carbon footprint during transportation.

- We encourage customers to recycle them responsibly. Instructions for proper disposal and recycling will be provided with your order.
How do I know if the food is safe to feed when it arrives?
- Our packaging is designed to maintain freshness during transit. Each package is sealed and insulated to ensure the food remains safe and ready to feed upon arrival.
- We conduct regular safety tests with external labs to ensure safe microbial counts.
- If you have any doubts about the food when you receive it, please contact our customer service.
How long will the food be fresh after it is delivered?
Our food is delivered fresh and should be consumed within the recommended storage period provided with your order. Typically, it remains fresh for 7 days when stored properly in the refrigerator, and up to 3 months in the freezer.
How flexible are the deliveries?
We offer flexibility with deliveries and allow changes to delivery schedules upon request. Contact our customer support team to make any adjustments to your deliveries.
When will my orders arrive?

How are the deliveries arranged if I am travelling?

If you are not at home, our delivery personnel will leave the package at your doorstep or handle it individually as per your request. We will make every effort to ensure the safe delivery of the package while providing you with convenient options to meet your needs.

Can I send my delivery to another location which is not my home?
Yes, you can specify a different delivery address during the checkout process or update your delivery address in your customer account settings.
Do you provide tracking on deliveries?
