Feeding Guidelines for Dogs and Cats

Disclaimer:

•   This recipe is intended only for occasional treats for dogs and cats, and must not replace their balanced daily diet.

•    Portion sizes and feeding frequency must be adjusted according to your pet's size, weight, age, and activity level.

•   Always consult your veterinarian before introducing any new foods, especially if your pet has allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing health conditions.

•   Closely monitor your pet for any adverse reactions after consuming treats (e.g., vomiting, diarrhoea, or lethargy). Discontinue use immediately if any symptoms occur.

Storage and Preparation

1.     Storage:

o   Store mooncakes in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.

2.     Preparation:

o   Cut mooncakes into small, manageable pieces for smaller pets or cats to avoid choking.

o   If reheating, ensure all ingredients are cool-warm to touch before serving.

 

Ingredient Notes

1.     Safe Ingredients:

o   All the ingredients we use are all natural, safe and nutritious for dogs and cats. Please refrain from feeding this to other animals.

o   Pumpkin, duck meat, broccoli, coconut oil, water, goat milk powder, and pumpkin powder are safe and nutritious in moderation.

o   Cheese: Used only in small amounts. Avoid if your pet is lactose or fat intolerant.

o   Low-gluten flour: Generally safe. Other alternatives can be considered if your pet has sensitivities to wheat. Please contact us.

2.     Allergy or Intolerance Monitoring:

o   If feeding for the first time, introduce the treat gradually and watch for adverse reactions (e.g. itching, vomiting, or diarrhoea).

·       If your pet has known dietary allergies, we can try to alter the recipe for you, let us know if you need additional customisations.

·       Treats like these should make up no more than 10% of your pet’s daily caloric intake.
